PERFORMANCE

Performance plays a major role in the training provided by Millennium
and workshops
for students are a main feature.
Professionals from every aspect of theatre are invited weekly
to work with the student body. This performance experience allows
the students’ creativity to flourish.
The
first exciting event on the school calendar is the Christmas Cabaret.
The student body has total control of this production. They produce,
direct, tech, choreograph and perform. These shows have become
legendary. They attract keen interest from the profession.
The
Actors’ Showcase is reserved for the graduating third years.
Students are encouraged to invite agents
to see their work.
Great importance is placed upon the second term assessments. The
entire student body partakes and the best offerings are presented
to an invited audience in a theatre venue.
The
final year presentation is a genuine spectacular. International
directors and choreographers are engaged to create works for the
students. There are several performances and a major London venue
is provided for the event. This platform attracts huge attention
from the world of theatre.
The
school takes advantage of offered opportunities to perform for
suitable charities.
We
encourage suitable students to audition for the National Youth
performing companies.
