Danny Crossley: MUSICAL THEATRE
REPERTOIRE
A former pupil of the directors, of Millennium Performing Arts.
West End credits include; Cats, Fame, Death In Venice,
The Mikado (Royal Opera House), Fosse,
Boyband and Chicago. He has toured Europe in Cinderella
with London City Ballet, Souls in Motion,
and Anything Goes. He was principal
dancer for the Sadler’s Wells Theatre and the Song and
Dance Company. He was a member of the 2001 New Shakespeare Company
at Regents Park appearing in A Midsummer Nights
Dream, Loves Labour’s Lost
and Where’s Charley? He is presently
playing Burt in the national tour of Mary
Poppins.

Jennie Dale: HEAD OF TAP
Jennie was born and raised in Brighton. She trained at Glendale
Theatre Arts School and had vocal training from Jan Spooner-Swaby.
She completed a three year Musical Theatre Course at Laine Theatre
Arts, graduating with Honours.
Her professional experiences include: the UK tours and West
End production of Scrooge where she
played Raggedy Anne and was Dance Captain. She was
also assistant to the director and choreographer for the Polish
production. Jennie then joined the Summer Holiday
Company and understudied and played the roles of Angie
and Stella. She went on to play the Milkmaid
and was Assistant Dance Captain in the UK tour of Lionel Bart’s
Oliver!, which also played in Toronto,
Canada. Jennie came into the West End and was an original cast
member in The Witches of Eastwick
at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and the Prince of Wales Theatre.
She performed in Les Misérables
at the Palace Theatre where she played the role of Madame
Thenadier followed by the musical Jerry Springer
The Opera 'Dance Captain'. She recorded the cast
album for The Likes Of Us and The
Witches of Eastwick. Most recently Jennie appeared
in Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward
Theatre playing Katie Nanna and understudy to Mrs
Brill, Miss Andrew and Mrs Corry, and then performed
at The Royal Opera House in Carmen.
Jennie was the original cast in The Lord of The
Rings, at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Jennie
can be seen in the Wink Bingo 'dancing housewife'
advert and will be featured in Victoria Wood’s
Christmas Special this year. She is currently
playing Sister Mary Willigis in Sister
Act at the London Palladium.

Karen Edwards: MATT MATOX BASED

Karen was an original cast member of the London production of
Fosse, playing the lead role at The
Prince of Wales Theatre on many occasions, and undertaking the
role of Dance Captain. She played Frenchie in Grease
(Cambridge Theatre, Asst. Res. Dir/Res. Choroegrapher); Isabella
in Pickwick (Sadlers Wells, Dance Captain);
was part of an international cast of Fosse that was invited to
Japan; Tiger Lily in Peter Pan
(Leicester Haymarket); Jesus Christ Superstar
(Barbican Theatre); Funny Money (Adelphi);
Carnival (Royal Opera House); as a
member of the Wayne Sleep Company for
three years that toured productions nationally and internationally,

Karen trained at The Susan Robinson School of Ballet and London
Studio Centre.

Theatre, The Royal Academy of Music, Arts Educational London,
Mountview Academy and The Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama.
She has taught drama to a variety of ages at Pembroke Hall School,
Jigsaw Arts, A.C.T.S., Stagestruck Stage School, Fieldnight and
Redroofs Theatre School.

Brenda Garrett Glassman: BALLET
Brenda trained at the Joyce Butler School and the Royal Ballet
School. She turned down Alvin Ailey Company to join Arthur
Mitchell Dance Theatre of Harlem. Her other theatre
credits include ‘Sarava’
and 'Daddy Goodness in Broadway’,
’The Wiz’, ‘Spell
No7’, ‘Kiss Me Kate’,
and ‘Mutiny’ in the West
End. Her other credits include a film ‘A Piece
of Action’, starring Bing Crosby, ’The
Wiz’, Starring Michael Jackson and Dianna
Ross, presenting Home Shopping Channel on Sky, guest appearances
on Sunday Morning’s Umbrella Programmes, dance series ‘Street
Ahead’ for Channel 4, an omnibus special ‘Tango’s
and Rags’ ,and commercials for ‘Halifax’
and ‘Harp’ lager. Brenda
has taught audition tours for the Royal Ballet School and Birmingham
Royal Ballet, master classes for The Cechetti Society and is now
a member of the New Advisory Group for the Governments Music and
Ballet scheme.

Liza Hobbs:
SINGING
Liza trained at Trinity College of Music, and works as a singing
teacher both in East Sussex where she lives, and also in London.
Liza’s performing career spanned West End musicals, opera
(at Covent Garden and Glyndebourne), and recitals of both classical
and light music, pantomime, music hall and cabaret. As a member
of the Ambrosian Singers and London Voices she
made many recordings of classical repertoire, and has also taken
part in a good many recordings of musicals. Teaching singing now
takes up almost all of her time. She teaches in the Junior Department
of the Royal College of Music, in the performing Arts department
of Battle Abbey School, and at Morley College in London.

Josephine Holling:
BALLET
Josephine trained at White Lodge and the Royal Ballet Upper School
and graduated into the Royal Ballet Company at 17. Performing
all the major classical ballets in the UK, and abroad, other works
performed included Grosse Fugue and
Septet Extra by Hans Van Manen and Ballanchine’s
Allegro Brilliante. Following her performing
career, Josephine retrained to become an examiner for the Royal
Academy of Dance and commenced teaching extensively. In 1990 she
became Artist-In-Education for Birmingham Royal Ballet and ballet
mistress to the Junior and Senior Associates of the Royal Ballet
School in Birmingham. Prior to joining Millennium Dance 2000,
Josephine was Dance Director for the Dance School of Scotland.

at The Prince Edward Theatre and The Women
at The Old Vic.
Annette is also a writer for a female comedy duo called Fair
Do’s.

Stephen Mear: MUSICAL THEATRE
DANCE ADVISOR/CO-ORDINATOR
An early pupil of Jacki Mitchell and Donald McLennan. One of the
best performers, choreographers and teachers of today, Stephen
has appeared in Cats, Evita,
42nd Street, Some Like It
Hot, and Crazy For You,
of which he became Resident Choreographer. His TV credits are
numerous and he has performed in several Royal Command Performances.
Recently he has choreographed his first original musical Grapevine,
the musical Snoopy, and his own original
version of the musical Grease for Greece.
Stephen was the Associate Choreographer for Sweet
Charity in the West End and is Associate Choreographer
for the musical Oklahoma at the National
Theatre. Recently he has choreographed for Julia McKenzie’s
production of A Little Night Music and
Babes In The Woods in Nottingham. Soul
Train at Victoria Palace, and Of Thee
I Sing, West End and Singing In The
Rain at the West Yorkshire Playhouse and National
Theatre. These are just some of Stephen’s credits as a choreographer.
In 1999 Stephen was nominated for an Olivier award
for his choreography for Soul Train
and again in 2000 for Singing In The Rain.
He was appointed choreographer with Bill Avian for Cameron Mackintosh’s
production The Witches of Eastwick.
Stephen’s exhilarating choreography for Trevor Nunn’s
production of Anything Goes has become
Legendary. The production goes to the USA in 2005. Stephen has
recently choreographed the Rod Stewart musical Tonight’s
The Night and Mary Poppins.
Millennium Dance is very proud that Stephen devotes all of his
available teaching time to the school.

Joseph Pitcher: MUSICAL THEATRE
REPERTOIRE
Joseph trained at Millennium Dance 2000 on the Gillian Lynne Scholarship.
Upon graduating he received the award for Musical Theatre His
theatre credits include; Sunset Boulevard
(No 1 UK National Tour), Chicago (Adelphi
Theatre), Singing’ In The Rain
(Royal National Theatre and West Yorkshire Playhouse), Of
Thee I Sing (Bridewell Theatre), the roles of Billy
and Dwight in Elegies (Globe Centre),
Polidori in Bloody Poetry (Brockley
Jack), Charlie Brown in Snoopy (Rosemary
Branch) and Edmund (Millfield Theatre). Joseph also understudied
and played the lead role of Bill Snibson in Me and
My Girl at The Birmingham Alexandra. Film and Television
credits include the role of ‘Steve’ in The
Autograph (Bournemouth Films in association with
Channel Four), ‘Paul’ in The World Within
The Flame (IP Films), Crimewatch UK
and Showtime at the Stadium choreographed
by Stephen Mear. Choreography credits
include Aladdin (Kings Theatre Glasgow),
Too Marvelous For Words (The Mill At
Sonning), Shiny Happy People (Queens
Theatre, Hornchurch), The Diana Ross Retrospective
(Etcetera Theatre) and Godspell (Bloomsbury
Theatre). Too Marvellous For Words transfers
to the King’s Head, London this Christmas. Joseph is also
co-director of Zoop Zoop Productions
whose first production was Snoopy. Most recently Joe did Anything
Goes, (Theatre Royal Drury Lane). In September Joe
is commencing a one year intensive acting course at the Bristol
Old Vic and is soon starting a junior Theatre school.

Mark
Smith: TAP DANCE
Mark is a freelance dancer, teacher, actor and choreographer.
He trained at the Royal Ballet School and London Studio Centre
(taught by Jackie Mitchell and Donald McLennan). He had performed
in dance companies and taught dance classes/workshops all over
England. He co/choreographed with Firefly, Maria LaRibot,
Arron Williamson and Fergus Early for Green
Candle Dance Company. He had performed and choreographed
his signature work called ‘Signdance’
(sign-language and movements together) at the Royal Festival Hall,
Jackson’s Lane, ICA, Albany Theatre and The Place. Recently,
presented his new work called ‘The Lift’
at Stratford Circus, 2005 and Swindon Dance's Moving
for Change Gala at the Wyvern Theatre, 2006. At
moment, he is teaching colleges - Colin’s Performing Arts,
London Studio Centre and Millennium Dance 2000. He is setting
up his own choreography project called Parafraze.

Spencer Soloman: BALLET
Spencer’s Theatre work includes Resident Director/Choreographer
on ‘Guys and Dolls’ (Piccadilly
Theatre) Assistant Choreographer/Dance Captain on ‘A
Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum’
(National Theatre). Assistant Choreographer on ‘Pardon
My English’ (City Centre, New York). Resident
Choreographer on ‘On Your Toes’
(Royal Festival Hall). As an actor/dancer, credits include: Head
Waiter in ‘Contact’ (Queens
Theatre) Fogarty/understudy Billy Flynn and Amos Hart ‘Chicago’
(Adelphi Theatre) His T.V. and Film credits include Assistant
Choreographer on ‘Beyond The Sea’
Directed by Kevin Spacey. The latest series of ‘Auf
Wiedersehen Pet’ Spencer trained at the Royal
Ballet School and Sylvia Youngs Theatre School. He has had a successful
ballet career as a Soloist wlth Dusseldorf Ballet, Berlin Ballet,
Duisburg Ballet, Bonn Ballet (all in Germany) Nice Ballet (France)
Basel Ballet (Switzerland) he has also worked with Birmingham
Royal Ballet.

Richard Teverson: ACTING &
TEXT
Richard trained as an actor at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic
Art and now works in film, theatre, television and voice overs.
On film he can be seen as Cousin Jasper in the new Miramax production
of Brideshead Revisited. West End Theatre
includes: Richard Hannay in The 39 Steps,
Scar in The Lion King, A
Woman of No Importance, When Harry Met
Sally and The Mousetrap.
Regional theatre includes: Cleo, Camping, Emmanuelle and Dick
(Newcastle under Lyme), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Creation,

Nikki Woollaston: ASSISTANT
TO DIRECTOR OF JAZZ
Nikki trained under Jacki Mitchell and Donald McLennan at The
London Studio Centre. Most recently Nikki was the Associate and
Resident Choreographer for the new musical production of Sinatra
at the London Palladium, directed by David Leveaux. In 2005 and
2007 Nikki was the Assistant Choreographer for On
The Town directed by Jude Kelly and choreographed
by Stephen Mear (English National Opera at the Coliseum). Nikki’s
choreography credits include Cinderella & Aladdin
at Watford Palace, and The King And I
(UK Tour); further credits include Assistant Choreographer for
Anything Goes, directed by Trevor Nunn
and choreographed by Stephen Mear (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and
National Theatre); Nymph Errant (Minerva
Theatre, Chichester); The Vivien Ellis Awards
(Her Majesty’s Theatre, London) musical staging for Kismet
at The English National Opera ; Assistant Choreographer for Gershwin
Concert choreographed by Stephen Mear (London Palladium); Nikki

UK for various salons and teaches regularly at Millennium Dance
2000 where she is Assistant to the Head of Jazz.
